Worms

A sure sign we are about to leave this damn winter behind. While at my favorite fishing spot in Plymouth, just before the last new moon at dead low tide I saw many gulls working the shallow water. They loked like they were eating seaweed but on closer observation it was worms! These worms were 6-8" long and emerging from the sand by the hundereds. They were a light reddish tan, with a darker brown head, and would be easy to imitate with a bunny fly tied in the same color. Mother nature has revealed one of her secrets. I know what I will be using come the new moons of May, June, and July!
