Re: Early season striper fishing on Cape Codquery

Mid-to-late April is usually when people start catching schoolies on the Cape.

If you want to go to Rhode Island, they usually start catching some between now and mid-

April off the West Wall near Matunuck Beach. All of this is usually slow, hit-or-

miss fishing. The keepers as a rule don't seem to show on the Cape (specifically the Canal)

until mid to late May.

As with all these predictions, as soon as you make them, someone will wind up

disproving them!
