I fished the Pawcatuck River for an hour Saturday morning. The seals and sea ducks were on the chow, but stripers are still deep in the main channel. As a result of our colder than normal spring; the water temp was only 46 degrees.A few more degrees and the coves along the river should light up. In any event it was a beautiful sunrise and good casting practice.
