Broodstock salmon in Peters Pond on Cape

They just stocked Peters with some very nice fish two days ago. 1-to-4 lb. rainbows

were being caught consistently yesterday. And, finally, I managed to catch one

of the monster broodstock salmon on a five foot ultralight spinning rod with

4 lb. test line. I didn't have a scale, but I'm guessing it was between 10 and

15 lbs (29 inches long). Of course, freshly stocked fish hit everything that moves,

so it was fairly easy to hook them.

Went down there again this morning and the fishing was non-existent. Go figure...
