While you can probably stir up a few large (>30") stripers earlier, June is probably
the earliest you could consistently find fish this size in the Kennebec area.
Please remember that ALL stripers caught prior to July 1 on the Kennebec MUST
be released. After that it's 36 inches minimum and one fish per day. Good luck, the
