Waquoit 9/7

For the first time I made the walk out to the jetty at Waquoit in search of the elusive(from shore) bonito and false albacore. We arrived around first light, fished the inside points of channel wiht no success. Clousers produced one silverside (foul hooked)!

Proceeded to fish the jetty and what a sight to see the speedsters for the first time clearing the water. The schools would pop up and disappear so quick, it would be apparant that you may only get off two or three casts before they would be gone. There were probably about a dozen boats early on off the end, but we only saw one hooked up.

The fish did not quite come close enough for us shore anglers, but we did manage a couple of fluke and a few small snappers. A beautiful place that I will be visiting again real soon.
