Dave - I've caught white perch in Cotuit at Loop Beach as well as Oregon.
Small Clousers and short tube flies have worked for me (the smaller the hook the better).
I usually run into them in early spring or late fall. The pond you are talking about
does see some fishing action although I am not sure if it is for White Perch.

You should have gone over to Popponesset Spit yesterday, schoolies were stacked up
in the waterway between the start of the spit and the small island across from it.
Not very big though. J McC
