This fly works well in my area as an imitation for spearing. Tie it around 2-5" and have fun!

Tying Sequence

Step One

Tie in platform of white bucktail.

Step Two


Dub pillow in red.

Step Three

Tie in yellow saddle flat on top of pillow.

 

Step Four

Tie in two strands of pearl flash.

Step Five

Tie in olive saddle.

Step Six

Tie in two strands blue flash.

Step Seven

Tie in tinsel yarn for body.

Step Eight

Prepare marabou as shown for throat.

Step Nine

Tie in marabou for throat and sides.

Step Ten

Tie in sparse wing of apple green bucktail.

Step 11

Tie in cheeks of turquoise,pink,orange, three hairs each.

Step 12

Top with five strands of peacock herl.

Step 13

Tie in jungle cock for eyes

Step 14

Run fly under hot water for a few minutes to bring it all together. Let dry.

Step 15

The finished fly.
