South Shore

Bass, blues and tuna – what can I say?  Duxbury/Plymouth has been on fire in the mornings.  Expect to find schools of stripers from Browns Bank down to the Marianne Rocks, if not clear into the canal.

Mumichog reports:

Sunday and Monday(a.m.)- all day Sunday from dawn til nearly dusk and we put 40-50 bass and a few blues in the boat but the action wasn’t frenzied like had been reported a few days before. Monday morning was quite windy and motor problems limited our movement but the early action was a little better and we got into some breaking bass then it died off bigtime.

Fish On,

Mark N. Cahill has been writing and editing for since 1995. He started fishing in the mid-1960's and caught his first striper off World's End in Hingham in 1966. From there on in it was an obsession. He loves fishing for tuna, and fly fishing for striped bass. In a pinch, anything with fins will do...
