South Shore

Not a lot of reports this week. Word from Plymouth/Duxbury is there’s still plenty of fish around, but the bait is more scarce.  North River’s still somewhat slow, so work the outside and you’ll find them.

North and South rivers have been holding schoolies.  Look outside, among the rocks, etc. to find the bigger fish. Check this out from Swashy: Went yesterday from Duxbury. Found schools of Blues (25-30") from High Pines to GH. Strolled back into Howland’s around 11am and

Sporadic reports of blitzes off the beaches and shoreline. It definitely looks like we’ve hit the fall pattern, which means we can expect some epic fishing over the next few weeks.  Football tuna are still being taken regularly in the bay.  To the south, word

Not hearing so much from the southerly areas this week.  That can mean one of two things, either we’re moving into the dog days, or they’re getting into some serious action. Edsly’s continued to have decent action that the North: Fished a handful of times

South Shore – Action Continues

At Baymen Outfitters, Capt. Dave posts on his site that the winds of the past week have blown in the big stripers.  Even better, there are pogies in Duxbury Bay, which may keep those fish in there a while.  At the North River, Edsly (on
