Well there is a new game in town. Yes it has finally happened, the albies have around in good numbers. This is not a rumor, I have seen them up close but not quite personal.
Canal
Canal continues to produce fish in the predawn hours, even my neighbor who rarely fishes the ditch had some good action.
North Side
Boats are still cruising between the canal and Barnstable harbor catching fish on the troll. A couple people I know have had good mornings catching mostly schoolies but seeing the occasionally larger fish off the beaches.
Outer Cape
That evening activity that I’ve talked about in the past is starting to spill over into the dawn hours. Lighter winds should provide favorable conditions for the long wanders.
